History: As the wiki doesn't really have a history section...
As the son of a rich and famous fashion designer, Adrien had a very sheltered childhood up until the point the canon actually takes place in. He was homeschooled and kept to a rigorous schedule, studying Chinese and learning fencing and the piano on top of the typical coursework for his age. He worked as a model and kept up a professional image in the spotlight as Gabriel Agreste's son, but otherwise appears to have had little opportunity to even just leave the house. His only friend was Chloe Bourgeois, likely because she was the mayor's daughter and thus deemed appropriate company for him.
On the day he first snuck out in an attempt to go to public school, he helped an old man who appeared to have fallen and dropped his cane. The old man in question was apparently the keeper of the Miraculous, and he decided Adrien was worthy of the black cat's power and snuck the box containing the Miraculous ring into Adrien's room. Upon opening it, Adrien met Plagg, his kwami, and was given a very quick explanation of the Miraculous' powers before jumping right into playing the hero. He met Ladybug during that first akuma attack and was quickly won over by her bravery and cleverness.
After the akuma was taken care of, Adrien managed to get permission to attend public school. On his first day, he realized that Chloe was downright rude to pretty much everyone else and quickly befriended Nino instead, though he never could give up on Chloe entirely as she was his first and only friend for so long. From then on, he made a point of being nice to everyone in class and not putting up with Chloe's brattiness, eager to make friends now that he finally had the chance. He kept up with his studies, fencing, and modeling work as well as now having a bit of a social life, and with the addition of his time spend as Chat Noir one really has to wonder when he finds the time to sleep.
Additional OC and AU Background: N/A
Personality: Adrien maintains two very separate personas, so wildly different that Marinette can be completely in love with one and constantly exasperated by the other.
In his civilian life, Adrien is polite, professional, and reserved. He's a hard-worker and obedient, always trying to be the perfect son for his famous father. Among his peers, Adrien is kind and supportive, occasionally a little awkward in dealing with others but always making up for it with his natural charisma. Despite his lavish lifestyle, he's very gracious for a teenage boy -- he's always polite to Natalie despite her oftentimes being the one to enforce his father's strictness, and extremely grateful for everything from Nino trying to take on Mr. Agreste in Adrien's defense to the little ways Natalie helps and supports him occasionally. He keeps a strong lid on his emotions, displaying irritation and anger and sadness mildly and trying not to dwell on any of it or get anyone else dragged down by it. Even at his most rebellious, like in trying to go to public school for the first time, he usually ends up being talked down and obeying his father.
Adrien's relationship with his father says a lot about the sort of person he is; Adrien is clearly unhappy with his sheltered life and resents his father somewhat for it, but he's depressed when his father doesn't show up for parent's day at school and he's thrilled when he thinks his father got him something so personal as a scarf for his birthday. As much as his father is an oppressive force in his life, Adrien still loves him and craves attention and affection from him.
As Chat Noir, however, Adrien has none of his normal reservation or care for appearances. He appears to relish the freedom being Chat Noir gives him, expressing himself openly and shamelessly. He flirts and jokes around, throws himself into danger without hesitation, and just generally behaves without concern for how anyone thinks of him. He remains kind and selfless as ever -- perhaps even moreso than normal, if all the hits he takes for Ladybug are any indication -- but he tempers all the noble heroicness with enough cockiness and boasting that it's harder to take him seriously. He's content to remain in Ladybug's shadow and follow her lead, appearing completely unbothered by the public's fixation on her over him.
Canon Powers: As Chat Noir, Adrien gains heightened strength and agility, the ability to see in the dark, and his Cataclysm power which allows his to weaken or destroy anything he touches once before needing to be recharged.
Game powers: Going with the 3 powers powerset!
1. Enhanced strength and agility. Same as from home, allowing him to fight off baddies, dodge blows and generally dart around all over the place like a cat.
2. Cataclysm. Being derived from something other than the Miraculous here, it would have a more set recharge time (only once a day rather than once a transformation), and it only works on non-living objects -- if he tried to use it on a person, it would likely just dissolve whatever piece of clothing he was touching on them and embarrass everyone involved, or just not work at all.
3. Cat mutations. Adrien will gain cat ears and a tail similar to the fake ones he gains as Chat Noir (though these are very much real) as well as those crazy cat eyes. The eyes are useful for seeing in the dark, the tail helps a little with balance, and the ears have slightly better hearing but are mostly just adorable.
Abilities:
Fencing: Adrien is a fairly skilled fencer even without the buffs granted by his superhero-ing, and he's competent enough to use things like his staff as an impromptu sabre.
Languages: His fluency in French is pretty obvious given it's his first language, but he's also fluent in Chinese.
Piano: He's a talented pianist, just in case that somehow ever becomes helpful in superhero duties.
Modeling: The actual modeling part will likely not be particularly useful in this setting, but he knows how to handle himself well in the public eye and he takes direction well.
Setting: While being in this very new place and without even Plagg around for support will be very unsettling at first, that will likely be forgotten pretty quickly as it's SPACE and he still gets to be a superhero and dad can't tell him what to do here wow!!! He's likely to start experiencing a lot more bleed between his personas and having to backpedal a lot if he wants to maintain the idea that he's not really the Chat Noir from back home.

Prose Sample: Your character is with the team at a fancy diplomatic party and a UP dignitary (Coluan, naturally, because man, that whole planet seems to be chock fill of arrogant dicks) has called into question the character's ability to be a Legionnaire and whether or not they, some weirdo interdimensional stranger, have the personal character to help protect the United Planets. How do they respond?
It had been easy enough to get through the party so far. Mingle a little, taste the weird space hors d'oeuvres, stay out of the way while the main Legionnaire team handled all the attention. He was plenty used to fancy parties after growing up with a father like Gabriel Agreste and felt right at home in the sleek black tux one of those sewing aliens had made him.
Up until some arrogant dick started talking smack. Then Adrien had paused, some sort of little space cracker sandwich halfway to his mouth, unsure of how he was supposed to handle that.
He knew how he would have done it back home, as Adrien Agreste, son of Gabriel Agreste. All charm and professionalism, talking through it with a smile. But he hasn't had to be that controlled since arriving here, and the "perfect son" thing suddenly isn't coming so easily.
"Uh." Adrien lowered his little space snack, face heating a little at his own hesitation. Some part of his railed at the nerve this guy had to be questioning him like that, and he had to stop down his more Chat-like urges; no need to start a scandal because he got a little catty. He swallowed, and after a moment -- there it was, that flawless Agreste charm.
"Sorry." He smiled apologetically, and shrugged in that carefree-looking way the photographers loved. "I don't claim to be some flawless hero here to solve all your problems. But if showing up here gave me special powers, then it seems like the universe wants me to use them, right?"
With a subtle motion, he wiped the crumbs from his fingers before tucking his hands into the pockets of his pants, picture-perfect as ever. "I admit, I still don't know much about this world. But I do want to help people. If I can, then I will."
Network Sample: Welcome to the Legion, rookie. As a way of helping your character cope with their circumstances and have an optimistic outlook towards the future, the existing Legionnaires want them to record a message to their future self with their thoughts on their current situation, what they hope to accomplish in their time with the Legion, and the first thing they want to do when they get sent safely home or to the dimension of their choice.
So.
[Adrien was not sure how to go about this. The whole cutesy "letters to your future self" thing wasn't ever part of his homeschooled curriculum, and he definitely missed out on that part of public school. It should have been as easy as just babbling something about the future to satisfy the people in charge, just...
Well. He wasn't sure how he felt about all this, let alone what he had planned for the future.
For a lack of anything more eloquent to say, Adrien sighed.]
Wow. This is way tougher than an interview.
[At least interviews were just about fielding questions. Given all this freedom, he really wasn't sure where to start.]
So. [Again.] It's really nice of the Legion to be looking after us like this. No idea what I'd be doing right now if I'd been left to fend for myself on some alien planet in the future.
[Dying, probably. Was there even oxygen wherever they'd landed??]
Look, I am grateful. And I do want to help. I want to get home too, because... [Should he even say it? That Paris needs him to protect it? He'd not sure how secure this "private message" actually is.] Because my friends and family are there. And I miss it. But I want to help if I can. Just...
[He's never had to do this without Plagg before. Somehow, the idea of superhero-ing without that lazy little voice in his ear is a lot more intimidating.
Adrien frowns for a moment, but shakes his head and attempts a smile.]
It's nothing, I guess. Just nerves. Which I guess isn't anything too shocking, since... Y'know. I'm suddenly in space and all that.
[A pause, and his smile grows a bit more genuine, just a little sheepish.]
...It is pretty cool, though.
Additional info: Kitty wants a staff. Anything the science team can make would be loved, obviously with more realistic limits as far as elongating goes.
